Man, these last couple of weeks have been crazy!! At work we are selling shoes like its the last opportunity to buy them. Well, actually all the schools in the area are getting ready to go back so everyone is getting stuff for school. I've been working like a crazy person!! And we just hired 2 new people and one of them I went to school with so I sorta already knew him...and we started hanging out and talking all the time. We even went on a lunch date (his words, not mine) well I decided that I would just ask him what we were because our whole relationship was quite fuzzy. He told me that I was a really nice girl but we were just friends!! Dude, guys are confusing!! But what I don't understand even more is that just 3 days after we quit hanging out and talking so much he started dating this girl! But what's crazy is that, he saw when his best friend dated her that she had to control every aspect of his life. I don't understand why you would want to have someone like that in your life!! Oh well!! As I've been going through this whole ordeal, I've prayed that I will be able to over come my insecurities, fears, blah blah blah!! Usually when I get rejected I usually get really down and junk but this time I've been incredibly happy, despite everything!! And for that I'm proud of myself!!
On lighter news, there is just 5 months before I move to Idaho!! I'm pretty excited!! Some of my friends from where I used to live are going to be up there!! I can't wait!!
I can't wait for all this school stuff to be done at work...hopefully then I'll have time to blog more!!

Grand or Bland!!!
So my birthday is coming up in less than a month!! Yesterday was actually the one month mark! But the thing is, I haven't had a birthday party or celebration of any sort in 3 years so this year I wanted to do something great! I wanted my closest friends to be there but since most of them are 1200 miles away it looks like there will only be a few here! But I can't decide what I want to do! There isn't much around but there are HUGE cities within a 2-3 hour drive. What do you guys think?? Any ideas!! I'll take anything....something that sounds fun for probably about 4 people! I've racked my brain for about 2 weeks now and I can't think of anything!!

So I'm back from Florida and that makes me really sad for many reasons!! Of course the view is one of them. Our resorts was like being in Cancun. I loved it!! I went to the pool and got WAY WAY sunburned!! I also got to lay in the hammock and just relax under the palm trees in front of the lake! I competed a little and then we went to Cirque du Soliel. The show is called La Nouba, and if you haven't seen it yet I HIGHLY recommend seeing it! This was the second time I've seen it and I love it!! It's incredible that people can truly do this stuff! It's all live and these people are so talented! But one of my most favorite parts of our trip was our trip to Universal Studios. I've been once before but we didn't get to spend all day there! I rode this amazing roller coaster that takes you completely vertical and then you go through a corkscrew loop and just when you think it's over, it's not(that happens like 4 times)!!! We also rode the ride Revenge of the Mummy, TWICE!!! I love that ride! We also rode several simulated rides which was nice because they were inside and it was insanely hot outside!! I got to spend several days with some pretty amazing people!! And I enjoyed it greatly!
And when I got home I cried a little because my teacher is so awesome and her family is so nice that I really miss hanging out with them! I think I might have been overly sad because I was running on 6 hours of sleep for two or three days!! See we had to catch our plane at 6:40 in the morning and when you are flying out of an international airport that is extremely busy no matter what time of the day it is then you must get there roughly an two and a half hours or more early!! And yes you guessed that meant getting to the airport at around 3:30 AM!!! And since I was really sad about leaving Florida I didn't want to sleep so I didn't!! And I was extremely tired on our trip back! When we got to Memphis, the F.O. for our flight just decided not to come to work so we had to wait for an hour or so longer because we had to wait for him to get his hind in to work! That flight was only 55 minutes but boy it allowed for a great nap!
When I got back from Florida, I had to assume the responsibilities that I had left behind. And I thought that I might not be able to go to BYU-I!! Which that had me on edge but it turns out that all the financial aid stuff is working out fine and all things are back on track!!
I'm out looking for a different job and that is rough because I love my manager at my current job but I need better pay and I need set hours that won't change. Right now my hours could be cut and I could be called in! I just need a set schedule so I can make some plans. Since I've gotten back from Florida I feel really lonely so I've been trying to get some plans together but it's hard because of my job!! Things are really stressful but I know they will work out!!

Do I have to grow up??
So this week has been absolutely crazy, with me packing and studying for nationals and then work. This week I was only suppose to work on Wednesday from 5-9 but I got a call early Wednesday morning asking if I would like to work. Of course, I said yes and off I went. Well that meant I would be at work from 11 am to 9 pm. Shew, 9 hours later I was killed. Now, I'm sure there are lots of people who would call me a baby but this was the first opportunity I had at such a shift and therefore my body and mind were not prepared for such a feat! The reason I had the opportunity of several extra hours was because one of the girls that worked with me, just quit on Wednesday morning. And though I am sad she is gone and I wish her the best of luck in life, I am thankful for the extra hours that the rest of us get because of her choice. Which brings me to today! I was called again early this morning inquiring if I wanted to work. And again I wasn't going to say no! So off I went to work. I got another 6 hours today! Boy am I thankful! The reason is: I have two big purchases to make before I head off to college, I need to buy a laptop and a plane ticket; not to mention hopefully having some sort of savings. But somehow over the last three months the only savings I have would amount to a little over $100! So my plan isn't working exactly!
That brings me to plan B!! My friend mentioned that she and her parents were going to get her a credit card in order to help establish credit. But the more I look at things like this the more I just want to be a little kid again! Well, not really but things definitely are different and more difficult! So that is my big decision right now, to get a credit card or not to get a credit card! Any suggestions??

National Champ, well not quite!
So I finally graduated!! yay!! Now I'm preparing for my trip to Orlando for my national competition. Wish me luck, I've been working all year for this!! It's for HOSA, Health Occupation students of America. I'm competing in Nursing Assisting, which by the way I received my CNA toward the end of May!! I've been working but I'm not making much money so I'm looking for a different job. And the hardest part is that I have my CNA and I could work at a hospital and make $11/hr in my little town there aren't any openings. And let me tell you that really STINKS!!!! So now I'm just using my days off to study for the competition and prep. It takes me about a week to get things ready for a big trip like this so I'm starting early so I won't forget anything! At state I won first, so with that being said I will wrap it up by saying that hopefully in about a week and a half I will be a national champion. That sounds totally crazy but hopefully it will happen!!
P.S.
If you don't care maybe you could pray for me! I could use all the prayers I could get!

Long time....No See
I feel so bad...I didn't realize I actually had people reading my blog until I looked at some comments I had from a month ago. I am truly sorry about the lack of posts over the last month!! So I guess I should probably catch you all up!! I have been pretty busy over the last month! I got my acceptance letter to BYU-I! I'm sooooooooo excited to get to out there for school! I'll be on the winter/spring track, so if you are on that track too, can't wait to see ya!!! I have spent the last month cramming for my HOSA (health occupation students of America) state competition! I am very proud to report that I took FIRST at state!! I know I practiced and studied alot but I didn't expect first!! I was crying and shaking uncontrollably!! I'm pretty sure the people in the first few rows thought that I had lost my mind but it was a big deal!! Now I have my sights set on Nationals in Orlando,FL!! I'm so super excited for that!! But for now my time is consumed with fund-raising and studying!! I'm also going to apply for a job at the local jewelry store. And just so that doesn't sound weird I live in a town of about 5,000 people max and that's about half the county. So we are EXTREMELY tiny!!
I'm also proud to say that I've started clinicals for my CNA class!! Those clinicals are so tiring but so rewarding!! I'm also happy to report that through a scholarship and other financial aid I have my entire first year of college paid for!! That is an enormous weight off my shoulders!!
And the worst thing I have to report is that I'm currently learning about the reproductive system in anatomy and...com'mon, really.....ahhh I hate it!! I know that it is critical to my future career (Pediatric Nurse Practitioner) but right now....hmmmm....I just don't know!!
Well considering I'm still catching up on sleep from last week's state competition I'm going to leave it at this!! I promise I'm going to try to keep up with the blog, especially now that I know people are actually reading it!!
Thanks guys!! :D

Earn some...Spend some....Save some!!!
So I have been blog jumping which I find extremely fun and in my blog jumping I have been inspired! Every amazing blog has button. So I went out looking for how to make a button! I found it and I've got a button, I just don't know how to put it on my blog! If any of you know, would you care to tell me!? And that was just a part of my inspiration, I've also been inspired to post more than once a month! I'm going to try but I just can never figure out what to post about!
Today is going on almost a month that I haven't been to school, and as strange as it sounds, it's killing me! On New Year's day I was so excited, 5 months till I graduate then the snow storm of the century,as my friends call it, came through and I'm snowed in and who knows when we'll be able to make back to school. I really wanted to graduate as early as possible because I'm taking a class to get my CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant). And what's so great about getting my CNA is that I will be able to work starting out at $9 an hour and that is just at the nursing home. If I work at the hospital I can start out at $11 an hour. Which is really good for me because I have lots of things that I need to buy and most of them are big ticket items. I don't have a car and since I'm staying home for the first year of school I will defintely need a car because the closetest campus is in town which is 20 minutes from my house and sometimes you have to travel to the next city which is 30 minutes from home. And I talked to my sister and she is going to be getting a new car in July, and she told me that I could just buy hers from her. Which is good, great actually because I wanted to get a vehical that was 4 wheel drive so that I could still get around in the winter and I know that I couldn't get one in the price range that I want. And a major plus is that her truck (Ford Explorer) has a sunroof, and I've always wanted a sunroof!! Oh man that is so exciting!! And I will spend about $4,000 less on a vehical by getting hers which mean I can buy a laptop, stress-free, and I can I have money to put towards book for school. And of course do what I do best...SAVE!!!! My friends tell me all the time that I need to live a little because I don't spend very much money, for instance; instead of going to the movies, I will rent a movie from the red box ($1) and then buy popcorn(not microwave, air pop) and I make that and then have a movie night! I save about 5 dollars by doing that!! And when I save I am really happy!! But sometimes I just have spend a little!
Which brings me back to laptops, does anybody know of a really good laptop? I really wanted a Lennova. The kind you write on. I don't know what it's called but you can write your notes on it and it makes them into text.(touch screen) Any ideas on good laptops???
