I'll give you just a few of the ideas that I found, I'm sure you will find them incredibly cute as well!!
- Dance to the song that Allie and Noah danced to in the street!
- Make the dance floor look like the street with a cute traffic light hanging above to resemble the scene in the movie!!
- Have a Black and White photo booth!
- Favors that are like notebooks with your story in it!!
- And have carnival foods like cotton candy and such!
- I also found these really cute invitations that are based on The Notebook!!
Also, the other night my step-mom started talking to me on facebook! And she told me that her and my dad would help me get my plane ticket to Idaho and get a laptop for school! That will be such a help. I've been working and trying to save as much money as I can, but plane tickets and computers are really EXPENSIVE! I also might be going out to Oklahoma to visit them. It will be the first time I will have seen them since the summer before my freshman year!! Just to put that in perspective, I just graduated high school! So it's a pretty big deal!
And one last thing! My job had been working us like crazy but now that school has started back and there isn't quite a demand for shoes our hours have been cut back to the scrawny 17 or so hours a week. I've been thinking about working at the hospital PRN as a CNA. (PRN mean as needed) But I'm really afraid to work as a CNA because I'm afraid that I will mess up or not be good enough! I know that I was the best person in my class, I even recieved the award out of the entire senior class for Pre-Nursing and I won 5th place at the national level for Nursing Assisting. Despite all of this, it is so easy to hurt someone and that is the last thing I want to do. The great thing about working PRN is that I would get paid time and a half (around 16.50/hr) and I would get to keep my job at Shoe Show with a steady income. I am just really bad with change and I just don't know what to do!!
What do you think??
I think your idea for a wedding is adorable even though I hated the notebook (gahhh I know!! sorry!). I myself have always wanted to do a great gatsby themed wedding. Its so fun thinking about this stuff except then you realize that you actually need to go out an dget the man to make it happen!
ReplyDeleteIf you graduated top of your class in pre-nursing I think you'd do fine as a PRN. Just have confidence in yourself and the knowledge that you so obviously have.
It's great that you might be seeing your dad and step mom!
good luck!
